In all the lives that have been lived, we have cried more tears and drank more milk than can be surfed upon. Time stretches so far back, you might never find its beginning! It’s enough to make one disillusioned, dispassionate, and freed regarding this wave of causation, the ups and downs, the wins and losses. A surfer doesn’t defy this wave of mutilation by diving into it. A surfer defies the wave by keeping their balance and stillness despite it. It can be done, but it takes a practice.
